Toddler, mother hit by truck at Clovis Trader Joe's parking lot; driver arrested

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- A toddler and their parent were deed by a motortruck Saturday day successful the Trader Joe's parking batch connected Willow and Nees Avenues, Clovis Police say.

When officers arrived, they recovered the toddler awake and alert with injuries. The mother, who was besides hit, had nary injuries.

The kid was taken to the infirmary and is expected to survive.

The operator was arrested astatine the country for driving nether the power and for injuring the toddler.
