Plane lands safely after report of smoke in the cockpit at Merced Airport

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- A level has safely landed astatine Merced Regional Airport aft a study of fume successful the cockpit, Merced Fire says.

Fire crews responded to a telephone astir 7:40 a.m. Thursday, astir a level emergency.

When they arrived, they discovered that a corporate-owned King 200 level had landed, with astir of the fume from the cockpit gone.

The 10 passengers connected committee had nary injuries.

The origin of the fume is not known.
