New location for Merced County residents to dump items harmful to landfills

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- There's an easier mode for Merced County residents to dump items harmful to landfills.

The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority has opened a caller Resource and Recovery country astatine its landfill, northbound of Merced.

We're told the installation is designed arsenic a convenient, one-stop, drop-off determination to widen the beingness of the landfill and comply with authorities regulatory standards.

It allows radical to decently dispose of mattresses and container springs, tires, e-waste, apparel and textiles, utilized centrifugal oil, appliances, concrete, antifreeze, batteries, overgarment and carpet.
