(NewsNation) — Ashlee Buzzard, the parent of missing kid Melodee Buzzard, has been arrested connected charges unrelated to the disappearance of her daughter.
Buzzard was arrested connected Friday and charged with mendacious imprisonment.
The charges are not related to the hunt for Melodee, however, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office said it could not supply the details of the charges without impeding the ongoing investigation.
