FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The suit against the City of Fresno's fume store ordinance has been thrown retired by a national court.
City leaders made the announcement connected Wednesday.
The suit was brought connected earlier this twelvemonth by the California Smoke Shops Association, saying the ordinance violated its members' rights to adjacent extortion nether national and authorities laws.
The metropolis was capable to proceed enforcing the ordinance during litigation, arsenic a national justice has blocked an effort to temporarily halt enforcement.
Council Vice President Miguel Arias says the metropolis attorney's office, on with codification enforcement, has unopen down 26 fume shops.
He says the extremity is to unopen down each fume shops by December 20-26.
