Hiker rescued after fall on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KFSN) -- A climber is recovering aft falling connected Yosemite's El Capitan and sustaining superior injuries.

Video was shared by the National Park Service with support from the climber.

Park Ranger Jesse McGahey and his rescue squad responded to the exigency telephone past week.

With the usage of a helicopter, they were capable to scope the climber and airlift him to safety.

The climber underwent country and is present recovering.
