Following indictment, Florida Dem escapes expulsion vote — at least for a time

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-Fla.) has escaped an expulsion ballot — for now.  The Florida Democrat was indicted by the Justice Department connected Wednesday evening connected charges of stealing exigency catastrophe backing to enrich her household and underwrite her campaign.
