CHP helps save an owl stuck to a car grille on Highway 99

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A operator recovered themselves with an unexpected rider portion driving down Highway 99, the California Highway Patrol says.

An owl had gotten itself stuck to the grille of a car.

CHP was called and safely freed the vertebrate from the grille.

The owl was not injured and flew disconnected soon aft the rescue.
