Atwater father assaulted ex-wife, hit people with car, before Amber Alert issued, police say

Daniel Hutchens of Atwater was taken into custody aft assaulting his ex-wife, forcibly taking their 4-year-old son, and hitting 2 pedestrians with his car portion fleeing the scene.
